On Wednesday 24 September 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, met with students and teachers from Hills Christian Community School, Verdun, South Australia. 

Then, the Governor-General was represented by Honorary Aide-de-Camp Brigadier Tim Hanna AM ADC, at the State Funeral of the Honourable Sir Eric Neal AC CVO KStJ, at St Peter’s Cathedral, Adelaide.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Letters of Credence accrediting His Excellency Mr Mikhail Petrakov as the Ambassador of Russia.
