On Friday 26 September 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, hosted an Investiture Ceremony for Order of Australia Honours, Conspicuous Service Decorations and Meritorious Service Awards.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, met with the Order of Australia Association Foundation 2026 Scholars. 

Then, the Governor-General, visited RSL Lifecare, Lyneham. 

In the evening, the Governor-General hosted a reception for recipients of the Investiture Ceremonies held on 25 and 26 September 2025.
