On Wednesday 29 October 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, provided an interview to Greg Jennett, Australian Broadcasting Corporation. 

Then, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from the Glennie School, Toowoomba, Queensland. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Her Excellency Tanieris Diéguez La O, Ambassador of Cuba. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as Patron of the Australian red Cross, hosted a house and garden tour for Red Cross Secretary-Generals from Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, Vanuatu, Fiji, Indonesia, Mongolia, Tonga and Australia.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Jo White, Director, Questacon, attended the re-opening event of Mini Q Exhibition, and films the 2025 Governor-General’s Challenge.

In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Gennevieve Jacobs AM, Chief Executive Officer, Hands Across Canberra, attends the Hands Across Canberra Charity Dinner at the National Gallery of Australia.
