On Wednesday 5 November 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Patron, attended the Royal Flying Doctor Service’ ‘Plane on the Paddock’ event, at Australian Parliament House.  

Then, the Governor-General received Professor Rory Medcalf AM, Head of College and Mr Tim Wilford, Director – Community Consultations, National Security College, Australian National University.  

In the afternoon, the Governor-General recorded video messages for RSL LifeCare Poppy Ball; Victorian Multicultural Association; The Piddington Society; Academy of Social Sciences; and Single Mother Families.  

In the evening, the Governor-General hosted a reception for International Non-Government Organisation Leaders, on behalf of the Australian Council for International Development.
