On Thursday 13 November 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council with Senator the Honourable Katy Gallagher and the Honourable Ged Kearney MP.  

Then, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Mary Mackillop Catholic College, Toowoomba, Queensland, as they undertook a tour of Government House.  

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Australian High Commissioner Designate to Cyprus. 

Later, the Governor-General received the Australian High Commissioner Designate to the Solomon Islands.   

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as Patron, hosted an afternoon tea for I-CAN students from the Indigenous Marathon Foundation. 

In the evening, the Governor-General, hosted a dinner for Council Members of the Australian War Memorial.
