On Friday 5 December 2025, at the Australian Defence Force Academy, Canberra, the Governor-General, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Commander-in-Chief and guest of Admiral David Johnston AC RAN, attended the 2025 Australian War College Graduation Ceremony.

Then, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General received Mr Edmund Mortimer, Head of Mission-Designate to the Republic of Estonia, and Ms Frances Sagala, Ambassador to Sweden, Finland and Latvia.

In the evening, at the National Gallery of Australia, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Ryan Stokes AO, Chair, officially opened the exhibition 'National Indigenous Triennial: After the Rain'.

Then, at Hotel Realm, Canberra, the Governor-General, as Patron and guest of Mr Stephen Donnelley, President, Rowing Australia, attended Rower of the Year Awards.
