On Thursday 11 December 2025, at Government House, Canberra, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, presided over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council with The Honourable Kristy McBain MP and The Honourable Peter Khalil MP.

Then, at the Australian Defence Force Academy, Canberra, the Governor-General, as Commander-in-Chief and guest of Brigadier Troy Francis CSC, Commandant, attended as the Reviewing Officer for the 2025 Graduation Parade.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received Ms Sarah Roberts, Australian Ambassador-designate to Argentina.

Then, the Governor General, received Mr Daniel Bartholomaeus, 2025 Australian Capital Territory Young Australian of the Year.
