On Tuesday, 3 March 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, met students and teachers from Ambrose Treacy College, Indooroopilly, Queensland, as they undertook a tour of Government House.

Then, the Governor-General recorded video messages for: Winter Paralympics; International Women’s Day; and Read Aloud to Your Child Every Day – Toast for Kids. 

In the evening, the Governor-General, as Patron, hosted a reception for the 2026 Sir John Monash Scholars at Government House, Canberra.
