On Wednesday, 25 March 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, received Mr Geoff Bowen, Australian Head of Mission Designate to Ukraine. 

Then, the Governor-General received His Excellency Mr Wesley Simina, President of the Federated States of Micronesia. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Matt Anderson PSM, Director, Australian War Memorial, attended a tour of the Australian War Memorial with members of the Sydney Swans.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General hosted a reception for the National Schools Constitutional Convention at Government House, Canberra.
