On Wednesday, 13 May 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, met students and teacher from St Ignatius College, Lane Cove, New South Wales, as they undertook a tour of Government House, Canberra. 

Then, the Governor-General placed a telephone call to Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General placed a telephone call to Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC, Governor of Tasmania.

Later, the Governor-General, hosted Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds during a Truck Week Tour at Government House, Canberra. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, met another group of students and teachers from St Ignatius College, Lane Cove, New South Wales, as they undertook a tour of Government House, Canberra. 

Then, the Governor-General recorded video messages for: Karinya House Ball; Zonta Australia 60th Anniversary; and Australia-India Business Council. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Australian Head of Mission Delegate to Thailand at Government House, Canberra. 

In the evening, the Governor-General, as Patron, hosted a reception for The Y Youth Parliament at Government House, Canberra.
