On Thursday 13 August 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, recorded video messages for the Indians in Sydney Gala; ALGWA National Conference; the Kennedy Awards and the Bravery Awards.

Then, the Governor-General received The Right Honourable Ms Helen Clark ONZ, Former Prime Minister of New Zealand, and Chair, Global Vaccine Alliance.

Afterwards, the Governor-General hosted a lunch in honour of The Right Honourable Ms Helen Clark ONZ.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received Mr Michael Hoy, High Commissioner to Brunei-Durussalam. 

Then, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Mt Evelyn Christian School, Montrose, Victoria, as they undertook a tour of Government House, Canberra. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General received His Royal Highness Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, Crown Prince of Brunei and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, Crown Princess of Brunei.
