On Wednesday 2 September 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, hosted a panel discussion and lunch for the Workplace Gender Equality Agency.

Then, the Governor-General received Ms Chanel Contos, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Teach Us Consent, and the Teach Us Consent team.

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Kapunda High School, Kapunda, South Australia, as they undertook a tour of Government House, Canberra.

Later, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Bennett Road Public School, Colyton, New South Wales, as they undertook a tour of Government House, Canberra.

In the evening, the Governor-General hosted a reception for 34 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force, at Government House, Canberra.
