On Friday 11 September 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, received Mr George Megalogenis, author, at Government House, Canberra. 

Then, the Governor-General, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, hosted an Investiture Ceremony for Australian Honours at Government House, Canberra.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Callie Zorzi, Head of Tailored Programs and Partnerships, McKinnon Institute for Political Leadership, attended a Leadership Dialogue Class at Australian Parliament House, Canberra.

In the evening, the Governor-General hosted a reception for recipients of the Investiture Ceremonies held on 10 and 11 September 2026 at Government House, Canberra.
