On Tuesday 15 September 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, met with students and teachers from All Souls St Gabriels School, Charters Towers, Queensland, as they undertook a tour of Government House, Canberra. 

Then, the Governor-General hosted a morning tea for Women for Elections, on International Day of Democracy, at Government House, Canberra. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Killarney State School, Killarney, New South Wales, as they undertook a tour of Government House, Canberra. 

Later, the Governor-General received Mr Dusty Langby and family, Dollars for Dusty – Little Wings. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General met with visitors to Government House, as they undertook a public garden and house tour of Government House, Canberra.

Then, the Governor-General recorded video messages for the Tasmanian Disability Awards, and Her Way Sports Media.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Kellie Friends, Chief Executive Officer, visited Toora Women Community Centre, Weston. 

Later, the Governor-General, hosted an afternoon tea for the Australian Nepal Friendship Society, at Government House, Canberra.
