Then, the Governor-General received Letters of Credence, accrediting His Excellency Mr Mark Lawrence Meredith as the Ambassador of the European Union.
Afterwards, the Governor-General, met with students and teachers from Kennedy Baptist College, Murdoch, Western Australia, as they undertook a tour of Government House, Canberra.
Later, the Governor-General received Letters of Credence, accrediting His Excellency Mr Stojanche Kitanoski as the Ambassador of North Macedonia.
Then, the Governor-General received Letters of Credence, accrediting His Excellency Dr David Brat as the Ambassador of the United States of America.
In the afternoon, the Governor-General hosted a lunch for newly accredited Heads of Mission at Government House, Canberra.
Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Acting Commissioner Ian McCartney APM, Australian Federal Police, attended The National Police Remembrance Service at the National Police Memorial in Parkes, Canberra.
Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest Mr Scott Weber APM, Chief Executive Officer, Police Federation of Australia, attended the National Police Memorial 20th Anniversary reception at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra.
