On Saturday 18 December 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, to Hobart, Tasmania.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of the Honourable Ms Sussan Ley MP, attended the official launch and reception for the RSV Nuyina.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Hobart, Tasmania, to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
