Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Mike Bush CNZM, Chief Commissioner, Victoria Police, visited the Victoria Police Centre.
Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Professor Rosemary McKenzie, Chair of the Board of Directors, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, visited the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
Later, the Governor-General placed a phone call to Professor Richard Robson, 2025 Nobel Prize Winner in Chemistry.
In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Paris Aristotle AO, Chief Executive Officer, Foundation House, visited and attended a lunch at Foundation House.
Then, the Governor-General provided a phone interview with Ali Moore for the Australian Broadcasting Network.
Afterwards, the Governor-General met with Ms Molly Whelan, Chief Executive Officer, and Ms Tahlia Azaria, Executive Director, Foundation for Young Australians.
In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Travers McLeod, Executive Director, Brotherhood of St. Laurence, delivered the 2025 Sambell Oration on ‘Belonging in Australia’.
