On Wednesday 15 June 2022, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, to Melbourne, Victoria.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Her Excellency the Honourable Linda Dessau AC, Governor of Victoria, attended the Vice-Regal Gathering.
