On Thursday 12 October 2023, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, to Melbourne, Victoria.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a lunch for Victorian Honorary Aides-de-Camp, Brigadier Robert Marsh PSM ADC and Colonel Mark Richards ADC.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Elizabeth Drozd OAM, Chief Executive Officer, visited the Australian Multicultural Community Services Centre.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley met with Mr Daniel Aghion KC, President, and executive members of the Jewish Community Council of Victoria.
