On Wednesday, 15 April 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Wagga, New South Wales.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Group Captain Darren Dolan AM, Officer Commanding Ground Academy, attended a morning tea with representatives of resident units, at RAAF Base Wagga.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Wing Commander Jodie Mason, Commanding Officer, No. 1 Recruit Training Unit, attended, as Reviewing Officer, the Graduation Parade of Recruit Course 04/26, at RAAF Base Wagga.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General travelled from RAAF Base Wagga, New South Wales to Sydney, New South Wales. 

Then, the Governor-General hosted an Investiture Ceremony for Mr Basil Sellers AO at Admiralty House, Sydney. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General received His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Alissa, Secretary General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Organisation of Muslim Scholars at Admiralty House, Sydney. 

In the evening, the Governor-General travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
