On Thursday 30 October 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council with the Honourable Matt Keogh MP and the Honourable Doctor Andrew Charlton MP.

Then, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Strahan Primary School, Strahan, Tasmania. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Her Excellency Betty Pavlich, Ambassador for Croatia, and Mr John Gasson, President, Red Shed Canberra, attended a training session and meeting at Red Shed Canberra.

Later, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Swansea Public School, Swansea, New South Wales. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General recorded video messages for Down Syndrome Australia and Kokoda Day.

Then, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from St Thomas Catholic Primary School, Claremont, Western Australia and Deanmore Primary School, Karrinyup, Western Australia.

Afterwards, the Governor-General travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales. 

In the evening, the Governor-General hosted a reception for Melanoma Institute of Australia.
