On Tuesday 4 November 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. 

Then the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Southern Christian College, Kingston, Tasmania.  

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Leesa Waters, Chief Executive Officer, National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect, hosted the Launch of the '100 Positive Stories' Media Campaign.  

In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Richard Boele, Chair, attended the 2025 World Boccia Championships Opening Ceremony at the Australian Institute of Sport.
