On Friday 13 February 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of Mr Michael McLeaod, Chair, Message Stick Communications, attended the National Apology to the Stolen Generation breakfast at Australian Parliament House. 

Then, the Governor-General, and His Excellency Mr Simeon Beckett SC, travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General was interviewed by Mr Kevin McCloud and Mr Tim Ross, Grand Designs, at Admiralty House, Sydney.

In the evening, Their Excellencies, as guest of Mr Luke Humphries, acting Head of Government Relations, Cricket Australia, attended the Governor-General’s XI cricket match, at North Sydney Oval.
