On Thursday, 26 March 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, met students and teachers from Bacchus marsh Grammar School, Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, as they undertook a tour of Government House, Canberra.

Then, the Governor-General, received Robyn Mudie, Australian Head of Mission Designate to Singapore, and representatives from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, at Government House, Canberra.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Mr Seah Kian Peng, Speaker of the Singapore Parliament, at Government House, Canberra.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received Ms Holly Rankin, Executive Director, Sentiment Agency.

Then, the Governor-General received His Excellency Mr John Kali CMG OBE, High Commissioner for Papua New Guinea to Australia. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General met students and teachers from Sommerville House, South Brisbane, Queensland, as they undertook a tour of Government House, Canberra.

In the evening, the Governor-General travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales.
