On Friday 26 June 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of the Honourable Milton Dick MP, Speaker of the House of Representatives, attended the 200th Parliament in Schools program at Curtin Primary School, Curtin, Australian Capital Territory.

Then, the Governor-General presided over a meeting of Federal Executive Council with the Honourable Patrick Gorman MP, and the Honourable Andrew Leigh at Government House, Canberra. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General attended a live screening of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association match between Australia’s Socceroos and Paraguay at The Dock, Kingston, Australian Capital Territory.

Then, the Governor-General travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales.
