On Friday 21 August 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales. 

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr John Ralph, Head of Gawura, visited St Andrew’s Cathedral School and Gawura School in Sydney, New South Wales. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received members of the National Council of Jewish Women Australia. 

Then, the Governor-General, as Patron, hosted a reception for the 70th Anniversary of Outward Bound Australia.
