On Tuesday 20 October 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, received Letters of Credence, accrediting His Excellency Mr Haralambos Kafkarides as the Ambassador of Cyprus.

Then, the Governor-General received Letters of Credence, accrediting His Excellency Mr Macocha Moshe Tembele as the Ambassador of Tanzania.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, to Sydney, New South Wales. 

Then, the Governor-General as Patron, hosted the 70^th Anniversary of Flourish Australia.
