On Tuesday, 3 November 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, to Sydney, New South Wales.

Then, the Governor-General, as Patron, and guest of Ms Jennifer Collins AM, attended the 2026 Kokoda Day Service at Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway, Sydney. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as Patron, hosted an afternoon tea for members and supporters from The Australian Ballet.

Then, the Governor-General, as Patron, recorded a video message with Simone Clarke, for UN Women’s 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.
