In the afternoon, the Governor-General received Dr Ralph King, Ambassador to Israel. 

Then, the Governor-General as guest of Senator the Honourable Bridget McKenzie, Ms Joan Ryan MP, and Ms Zali Steggall OAM MP, attended the Parliamentary Friends of Women in Sport Reception. 

In the evening, the Governor-General travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales.
