On Sunday 1 June 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.

Afterwards, the Governor-General as guest of Air Vice-Marshal (Retd) Warren Ludwig AM, Chair, Bomber Command Commemorative Day Foundation and Mr Matt Anderson PSM, Director, Australian War Memorial, attended the 2025 Bomber Command Commemoration Ceremony.
