On Friday 13 June 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales. 

Then, the Governor-General received Dr Robyn Smith-Walley, President, and Mr Damian Tapley, Chief Executive Officer, Western Australian Aboriginal Leadership Institute. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General received and conducted an interview with Ms Jacqueline Maley, Journalist, Sydney Morning Herald. 

Then, the Governor-General received Mr Peter Tonagh, Chairman, Bus Stop Films, and Tracey Corbin-Matchett, Chief Executive Officer, Bus Stop Films. 

Later, the Governor-General hosted a reception and Artist in Residence performance for 2MBS Fine Music Sydney, at Admiralty House.
