On Thursday, 9 April 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Patron and guest of Mr Ben Maguire AM and Mrs Marina Maguire OAM, attended a one-day horsemanship program at Remount in Yass Valley, New South Wales.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Erin Lloyd, Director, Service Delivery, Programs and Business Improvement, attended the Opening of the new Australian Capital Territory depot for COMCAR in Fairbairn.

Afterwards, the Governor-General travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales.
