On Friday 27 February 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, attended a breakfast with Mr Len 

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of His Honour Mr David Connolly, Administrator of the Northern Territory, attended the Swearing-In at the Parliament House of the Northern Territory. 

Later, the Governor-General as guest of Mr Richard Creswick visited the Cyclone Tracy memorial at East Point Reserve.

After, the Governor-General as Guest of His Honour Mr David Connolly, Administrator of the Northern Territory attended a lunch reception at Government House, Northern territory. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General travelled from Darwin, Northern Territory to Mount Isa, Queensland. 

Then, the Governor-General as guest of Major Scott Maxwell, Officer Commanding, Delta Company, 51st Far North Queensland Regiment visited the Mount Isa Reserve Training Depot, Mount Isa. 

Later, the Governor-General as guest of Mount Isa City Council attended a community reception and dinner in Mount Isa, Queensland.
