On Sunday 26 July 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of Ms Lyn Savage, Chief Executive Officer, Ladies Gaelic Football Association, attended breakfast at the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin, Ireland. 

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Professor Orla Sheils, Vice-Provost of Trinity College, attended a cultural tour of Trinity College and the Book of Kells in Dublin, Ireland.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Senator Aubrey McCarthy, Voluntary Chair of Tiglin Charity and Member of the Seanad Éireann, visited the Lighthouse Homeless Café in Dublin, Ireland.

Later, the Governor-General, as guest of Dr Mary Robinson, Chancellor Emerita, Trinity College Dublin and former President of Ireland, attended lunch at the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin, Ireland. 

In the evening, the Governor-General was received by Mr Micheal Martin TD, Taoiseach (Prime-Minister) of Ireland, at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Jarlath Burns, President of the Gaelic Athletic Association, attended the All-Ireland Football Seniors Championship Final at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.
