Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Her Excellency Ms Catherine Connolly, President of Ireland, was received for a Ceremonial Welcome at Áras an Uachtaráin in Dublin, Ireland.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Her Excellency Ms Catherine Connolly, President of Ireland, attended a State Lunch at Áras an Uachtaráin in Dublin, Ireland.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Rowan Gilliespie, Sculptor, visited the Famine Statues and toured the EPIC Emigration Museum in Dublin, Ireland.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guests of Mr Michael D. Higgins, former President of Ireland, and his wife, Mrs Sabrina Higgins, attended dinner at the D’Olier Street Restaurant in Dublin, Ireland.
