On Tuesday 28 July 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC travelled from Dublin, Ireland, to Riga, Latvia. 

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of the Government of the Republic of Latvia, received a Ceremonial Welcome at Riga Airport in Riga Latvia.

Later, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Valda Liepina, Chair of the Museum Board, visited the Museum of Occupation of Latvia in Riga, Latvia.
