Federal Executive Council; ‘Remember Me: The Lost Diggers of Vignacourt’ exhibition; Reception in support of Kinchela Boys’ Home Aboriginal Corporation; Dinner in support of the Sydney Heritage Fleet; EABC Mission to Europe

On Thursday 30 May 2013, at Government House, Canberra, the Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO, presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, at the Australian War Memorial, as guest of the Chairman, Rear Admiral Ken Doolan AO RAN (Ret'd), and the Director, the Honourable Dr Brendan Nelson, the Administrator viewed the exhibition "Remember Me: The Lost Diggers of Vignacourt”, curated by Dr Janda Gooding.

Later, at Government House, Sydney, the Administrator and Sir Nicholas Shehadie AC OBE, hosted a visit by School Captains and Vice-Captains from 51 Government Secondary Schools.

Then, the Administrator, as Patron, and Sir Nicholas hosted a reception in support of Kinchela Boys’ Home Aboriginal Corporation.

In the evening, at the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron, Kirribilli, the Administrator and Sir Nicholas, attended a Fundraising Dinner in support of the Sydney Heritage Fleet.

Earlier, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guest of the General Manager of Hyatt Capital Gate, Mr Ashwini Kumar, and the Senior Project Manager of Habtoor Leighton Group, Mr John Gergelifi, viewed the Captial Gate building at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
