Governor-General's Indigenous Student Teacher Scholarship

On Monday 9 August 2010, at the Stamford Plaza, Brisbane, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the President of Youth Without Borders, Ms Yassmin Abdel-Magied.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, in recognition of the International Day of the World’s Indigenous People, hosted a presentation ceremony and afternoon tea for recipients of the Governor-General’s Indigenous Student Teacher Scholarships.

In the evening, at Hotel Realm, Canberra, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended a ceremony at which the Governor-General received an Honorary Fellowship Award from the Royal College of Nursing Australia.
