Hume City Council White Ribbon Day event

At the Broadmeadows Town Hall, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Mayor, Hume City Council, Councillor Helen Patsikatheodorou, attended a White Ribbon Day event with Deputy Chair of the Advisory Panel on Reducing Violence against Women and their Children and 2015 Australian of the Year, Ms Rosie Batty, at which the Governor-General delivered an address and co-signed the White Ribbon Oath.
