London Paralympics

On Friday 31 August 2012, at the Copper Box, London, the Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Acting President of the Australian Paralympic Committee, Mr Nick Dean and Australian Paralympic Committee Board Member, Mrs Joyce Parszos, attended the Women’s Goalball.

Afterwards, at the Excel Centre, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce, as guests of the Australian Paralympic Committee Board Member, Mr John Croll and Mrs Susie Croll, attended the Women’s Table Tennis.

Later, at North Greenwich Arena, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce, as guests of Mr Dean and Mrs Parszos, attended the Women’s Wheelchair Basketball.

Then, at the Excel Centre, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce, as guests of the Vice President of the Australian Paralympic Committee, Mr Paul Bird and Mrs Roasly Bird, attended the Powerlifiting.

In the evening, at the Olympic Stadium, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce, as guests of Mr Dean and Australian Paralympic Board Member, Mr Stephen Loader, attended the opening night of the athletics program.
