On Tuesday 10 June 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Melbourne, Victoria to Bairnsdale, Victoria.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Tony Roberts, Principal, visited the Bairnsdale Secondary College. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Cr John White, Mayor and Naomi Barr, Library Operations Coordinator, visited the East Gippsland Shire Library. 

Then the Governor-General, as guest of Kenton Winsley, CEO, Gippsland & East Gippsland Aboriginal Co Operative Ltd (GEGAC), visited The Krowathunkooloong Keeping Place.

In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of Jen Smith

General Manager, Gippsland Agricultural Group, visited the research farm.
