On Tuesday 28 April 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Patron, virtually attended the Suicide Prevention Australia Conference, via livestream.

Then, the Governor-General received the Honourable, Mr Feleti Teo OBE, Prime Minister of Tuvalu at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Melbourne. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General, met with Dr Barry Jones AC at Mercy Place, Parkville

Later, the Governor-General travelled from Melbourne, Victoria to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
