On Friday 10 October 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Patron and guest of Ms Georgie Harman, Chief Executive Officer, Beyond Blue, visited Beyond Blue Melbourne.

Then, the Governor-General met with Right Reverend Doctor Peter Hollingworth AC OBE, Former Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General travelled from Melbourne, Victoria to Sydney, New South Wales.

Then, the Governor-General placed a phone call to Ms Anne Hollonds, National Children’s Commissioner.

In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of the Honourable Tony Abbott AC, officially launched his book ‘Australia, A History’.
