On 29 July 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of His Excellency Mr Edgars Rinkēvičs, President of the Republic of Latvia, were received for a Ceremonial Welcome at Riga Castle in Riga, Latvia. 

Then, the Governor-General was received by His Excellency Mr Edgars Rinkēvičs, President of the Republic of Latvia, at Riga Castle in Riga, Latvia.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of His Excellency Mr Edgars Rinkēvičs, President of the Republic of Latvia, laid a wreath at the Freedom Monument in Riga, Latvia. 

Later, the Governor-General was received by Ms Daiga Mierina, Speaker of the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia, for a tour and lunch at the Saeima (Parliament House) in Riga, Latvia. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General was received by Mr Andris Kulbergs, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, at the Cabinet of Ministers in Riga, Latvia. 

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Her Excellency Ms Frances Sagala, Ambassador of the Commonwealth of Australia to the Republic of Latvia, was received by the staff of the Australian Embassy in Stockholm at the Grand Hotel Kempinski in Riga, Latvia

In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of His Excellency Mr Edgars Rinkēvičs, President of the Republic of Latvia, attended an Official Dinner at Riga Castle in Riga, Latvia
