On 30 July 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of Dagnija Baltiņa, Director, National Library of Latvia, attended a tour and reception at the National Library of Latvia in Riga, Latvia.

Then, the Governor-General was hosted by His Excellency Mr Edgars Rinkēvičs, President of the Republic of Latvia, for an informal lunch at the President’s Summer Residence in Jurmala, Latvia. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General, was received by Mr Jānis Sārts, Director, North American Treaty Organisation Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence at the North American Treaty Organisation Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence in Riga, Latvia

Then, the Governor-General travelled from Riga, Lativa, to Winnipeg, Canada.
