On Tuesday 15 July 2025, Their Excellencies the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC and Mr Simeon Beckett SC, as guests of Mr Chris Bennet, Co-founder, Walk n Talk Collective, attended a walk with the Walk n Talk Collective. 

Then, the Governor-General, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, and Mr Beckett, hosted an Investiture Ceremony for the Victoria Cross. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mr Beckett, as guest of Ms Ashla Doherty, attended an art exhibition at the Rockhampton Museum of Art (RMOA). 

Then, the Governor-General and Mr Beckett, as guest of Mayor Tony Williams Rockhampton Council, attends a Civic Reception.
