On Tuesday, 5 August 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of Group Captain Sean Unwin, Australian Defence Adviser Singapore and Mr Jeremy Koh Chen Li, Battlefield Guide, attended a Wreath Laying Ceremony and tour of Kranji War Memorial.  

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Captain Brett Dawe, Chief of Navy Liaison Officer, Australian Defence Force (ADF) Support Element  Singapore, attended a morning tea with ADF members and their families at Sembawang.  

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Dr Jonathan Chang, Chief Executive, Heritage Singapore, attended a tour of Changi Chapel and Museum. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of His Excellency Mr Allaster Cox, Australian High Commissioner to Singapore, attended a business leaders’ lunch.  

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Felix Loh, Chief Executive Officer, attended a native tree dedication ceremony and tour of the Australian Garden and Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay. 

Later, the Governor-General, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, hosted an investiture ceremony at which Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong was appointed an Honorary Companion of the Order of Australia.  

In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of His Excellency Mr Allaster Cox, Australian High Commissioner to Singapore, attended the '60 for 60' reception at the Australian High Commission Singapore.
