On Wednesday, 6 August 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of His Excellency Mr Allaster Cox, Australian High Commissioner to Singapore, attended a traditional breakfast at Tong Ah Eating House. 

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of His Excellency Mr Allaster Cox, attended a morning tea at the Australian High Commission Singapore. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General, was farewelled at Changi Airport by Ms Indranee Thurai Rajah SC, Minister, Prime Minister’s Office. 

Later, the Governor-General travelled from Changi, Singapore to Colombo, Sri Lanka.  

In the afternoon, the Governor-General attended a meeting with His Excellency Mr Paul Stephens, Australian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka. 

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Lalita Kapur, Deputy High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, attended a Women in Leadership afternoon tea.  

In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of His Excellency Mr Paul Stephens, Australian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, attended a business leaders’ dinner.
