On Friday 19 July 2019, Their Excellencies, General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, travelled from Canberra to Sydney.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a reception for the launch of the Stay Kind’s Kind July.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Cameron Clyne, Chairman, Rugby Australia, attended a rugby match between the Buildcorp Wallaroos and Japan at North Sydney Oval.
