On Tuesday 7 May 2024, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as Joint Patrons and guests of Mr Chris Rehn, visited and met with staff of NextSense. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a lunch for State Governors and Administrator of the Northern Territory.  Guests included Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC and Mr Dennis Wilson; Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC and Mr Rod Bunten; Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeanette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD; His Excellency the Honourable Christopher Dawson AC APM and Mrs Darrilyn Dawson; Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardiner AC; and His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM and Ms Ruth Jones. 

Then, the Governor-General hosted a Vice Regal Gathering for the State Governors of New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia, Victoria, and the Administrator of the Northern Territory while Mrs Hurley hosted a program for the partners of the State Governors of New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia, and the Administrator of the Northern Territory. 

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a dinner for the State Governors and the Administrator of the Northern Territory.
